Being a teenager is fun but it can sometimes get hard because people expect you to be perfect when sometimes you're not. Life gets hard sometimes when you're supposed to keep your grades up do your chores and sometimes your parents don't trust you home alone when they have to go to certain places so they take you with them.
Eating for teens can be hard with junk food so when tries to start a diet it can be quite complicated, but you don't have to go on a diet to be or stay healthy. You can always look up online reciepes for the delicious food you love with healthier alternatives, or go to a market or a local store like Food Lion or Giant and buy yourself some fresh vegetables for a salad or soup.
Not getting enough sleep can do suprisingly A LOT of harm to you. Like limit your ability to learn, listen, concentrate and solve problems. You may even forget important information like names, numbers, your homework or a date with a special person in your life. One way to avoid that is to set a time table a a specific time for you to go to bed. That way you can pick a time you're comfortable and you won't be stuck in an awkward conversation where you forget someone's name.
Peer pressure is one of the worst night mares to both teens and parents. Teens usually take one of the two roads they either say no, or they give in to pressure. Usually teens give in to the pressure so they can be seen as "cool" or become popular. It's better to say no to peer pressure because giving in can do serious harm. Usually teens are pressured into stealing, drinking, smoking, or doing drugs which can lead to serious addictions or lead to death or jail. So if you're peer pressured into doing some thing you're not comfortable with say no, walk away, and tell a parent, gaurdian, or teacher.
We all have that one teacher we don't get along with. The one that always calls you for an answer even if your hand wasn't raised. You convince yourself to belive that the teacher hates you, when in reality they just want what's best for you. So if you ever have problems with your teacher talk to them privately after class or dring free time or ask your parents to talk to the school for a parent-teacher confrence so you can talk about how you feel. they're human too they might not even realise that they're making you upset or unconfrotable in class cause they're too busy trying to help you.
